100 DAYS!

100days

I’m getting married in T minus 99 days! I feel like we’ve done so much in the planning process but we still have a lot more tasks remaining.

Invitations & RSVPs

I just sent my invitations out on Tuesday and people are already starting to receive them! I was so nervous that I did something wrong and they would be returned to sender or that they would get lost in the mail (sometimes I worry about silly things even when I KNOW I did something right). But luckily, we got a call yesterday about someone getting theirs already. Now the hard part is going to be compiling all the RSVPs and meal choices. I’m anxious to see how many people will RSVP “yes”.

Attire

I picked up my dress back in November and had my first fitting earlier this month. I have another fitting in mid-January and if everything looks good, I should be able to take the dress home. I have my veil, jewelry, and shoes for that day but I’m still looking for a clutch bag to have at the reception. I’m ready for the bridesmaids’ dresses to come in so the girls can start getting their accessories. My fiancé has already decided on the guys’ attire, now they just have to order the tuxes. And I still need to buy his wedding band.

Vendors

All vendors are secured with the exception of rentals. I’ll be making a decision about chairs, linens, charger plates, etc. sometime in January. But my “vision” for ceremony and reception décor seems to be coming together nicely. My Pinterest board is a lot less scattered now.

Ceremony

This is the part I’m completely stumped on. I know I don’t want a super religious ceremony but other than that, I’m clueless. My uncle is officiating the ceremony so I’m excited to start planning that with him and my fiancé.

Pre-Wedding Events

I’m ready for the bridal shower and bachelorette party to happen because those are the two events that I don’t have to plan. Last night I was doing some online shopping to find outfits for those events. My maid of honor is amazing so I know she’s going to have something really nice planned for me.

Overall, I’m just ready to see everything come together and go on my honeymoon. Lord knows I need another vacation. The planning process hasn’t been that stressful but it is very time consuming.

Congrats 🙂 The time really flew by when I was planning wedding. In an odd way though, I actually miss it. Every time I worked on planning it I got a sense of anticipation… not sure how to explain it but it felt ace 🙂
