I LOVE tuna. Tuna out of the can, tuna sandwiches, tuna helper, etc. I just love it. This recipe is a godsend because it puts together some of my favorite things to eat. Tuna, tomatoes, bread, and melted cheese! I’ve never been a huge fan of grilled cheese sandwiches because I don’t like toasted bread (I like my bread soft). But I can deal with the hard bread for this recipe. And quite honestly, I think it would be hard to eat this if you didn’t toast it because it could just fall apart. I’m telling you… you NEED this cookbook.
Tuna is so delicious & I have been wanting to make a tuna melt for a while now. I appreciate you sharing this recipe with us, something that doesn’t cost too much (which means a lot to me since I am a budget friendly college student) and something I would enjoy! what type of cheese did you decide to use? I will assume any type works fine, but I want to know what went great with your tuna.

I used sharp cheddar cheese. My fiance and I had leftovers for 3 or 4 days following this recipe, adding to the cost effectiveness 🙂
Okay! sounds great! thank you for letting me know! that is amazing. I am actually probably going to get the ingredients today! pretty stoked to try it for the first time!
